The Atlanta Falcons, established in 1966 as a new expansion team, have one of the richest histories in the NFL. The Falcons have had only two stadiums in their entire existence, with their current one, the Georgia Dome, truly standing out even among the other stadiums in the NFL. The Atlanta Falcons have had their share of great players, also. Although no player has been inducted into the Hall of Fame based substantially on their time with the Falcons, players that have changed the game such as Jessie Tuggle, Mike Kenn, Jeff Van Note, Steve Bartkowski, and Clauden Humphrey have once worn the Falcons jersey. This season, the Falcons have an impressive roster with Chris Redman, Ovie Mughelli, Troy Bergeson, and Tony Gonzalez rounding out the squad. Can the Atlanta Falcons take their first League Championship this year? We will have to wait and see!
