The Boston Red Sox have a long, storied history in baseball. Started over one hundred years ago in 1901, the Red Sox are the team with the "Greatest Rivalry on Earth", the original team of Babe Ruth, and their fans have arguably gone through the most heartbreaks from season to season. The team of such greats as Wade Boggs, Jim Rice, Ted Williams, and Harry Hooper, there is no doubt that many of the the best baseball players ever have won a Red Sox jersey. Currently, the Red Sox are led by talent such as Josh Beckett and David Ortiz. If this will in the end prove to be a winning combination remains yet to be seen.
